About MORTY Audio Lab

MORTY Audio Lab is a remote mixing, mastering and audio production service built for independent artists, producers and creators who want their music to sound polished, professional and release-ready.

Founded by UK producer and artist MORTY, the service is built around real-world experience creating, releasing and preparing music for commercial release. This is not a faceless audio service. Every project is approached with the same care, attention and detail that goes into my own music.

My Background

I produce and release music under the MORTY name, creating music across UK garage, house, speed garage and electronic music. My focus has always been on groove, energy, vocal clarity and records that translate properly on systems large and small.

My music has received support from BBC Introducing Essex and BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire. In May 2026, my Genesis EP was released through Lost City Dubs, a label connected to Kody of Leftwing : Kody, and is available on both Beatport and Spotify. I also have future releases scheduled through Foundry Sounds.

Everything I offer through MORTY Audio Lab comes from hands-on experience producing, arranging, mixing, mastering and preparing music for release. I understand the challenges independent artists face because I face them myself.

How I Work

Every track is different. There is no one-size-fits-all processing chain and no generic approach.

My role is to understand the direction of the music and help bring it forward with clarity, balance and impact. That might mean improving low-end control, enhancing vocal presence, increasing overall loudness, reducing harshness, tightening dynamics, or simply adding the final polish needed before release.

I approach every project from both a technical and creative perspective. The objective is always the same: preserve the identity of the track while helping it reach its full potential.

Clear communication is a key part of the process. You do not need technical knowledge to work with me. Whether your feedback is detailed or as simple as "the vocal feels buried" or "the mix needs more energy", it provides valuable direction and helps me focus on what matters most to you.
